6.5 Dimming curves

Figure 9 shows the output current for a leading-edge dimmer and a trailing-edge dimmer.

The output current without dimmer is also indicated. The maximum output current with

dimmer equals 92 % of the output current when no dimmer is used. As a result, the input

power of the SSL5301DB1215 demo board with no dimmer is similar to when a dimmer is

used and set at its maximum angle.
